Also find a furniture store that has a markdown section... I bought a gorgeous dining table for $75 the catch - always a catch LOL was someone in the store had set the leaf of the table on top of it and slid it to the one side creating a deep gouge in the protective finish... someday maybe i will refinish the table top... mean while table runners are in - so no one knows *grin* also got a dresser big nasty mark down the left side... good news that is opposite the bedroom door so you only notice it if you are standing beside it... Do you want new furniture?? Check your local goodwill stores or some second hand stores. Our local goodwill accepts new furniture that the stores didnt sell/ had overstocked. walmart.com does furniture. Check you local paper sometimes people post an ad for their furniture at a reduced price or even for free. most furniture stores have discounts and clearance deals at the end of the year to make room for their new styles for the next year.
