you are looking at 100% off of the shelf, store quality, for designer level in excess of 1000%, but you are paying. for someone to do the work that you could have done just as easily, and that is in essence how they make a living. a good quality living room suite can be had for under $1000, add a few fancy fabric colors and hard sell,and some sweet talk, and you have the bottom line of your bill.

if custom ,she or he might have made as much as 25% but as little as 5% as a kick from the cabinett makers or the upholsterer ,, but if you paid all the money,, knowing it cost too much ,,,wont make you feel good now ,,will it ,, next time offer to go shopping with the person doing the room ,,tell them you love to look at fabrics and furniture, and are interested in their work, then after call the shops or go there to find out a sample of the prices,, then you know ,,
