I have 2 cats and 2 dogs , they all sleep on my sofa,
I have brushed leather ( not that smooth shiney leather)
The cats claws do not puncture it ,and the pet hair does not stick to it.
Would not have any other kind of sofa since I discovered
this type ( I also have kids that have spilled all kinds of things on it and no stains )

The best color is the same color as your pets! I personally don’t like microfiber. It’s just a fancy way of saying polyester. I like regular heavy upholstery fabrics. They last a long time. I like a print (not florals!!!). The prints don’t show much dirt. The cat and dog hairs come off easily when vacuumed.
